I agree, Puzze Bobble revolutionised the way i spent pocket money in 1996! lol. I do think it was champion of Taito to release it for J2ME indeed, they also did the prequel (Bubble Bobble) and the follow-up (Super Puzzle Bobble). I have to say out of all three, super puzzle bobble and bubble bobble keep me going for ages. As for Tamagotchi, it just follows the same principle of Virtual Pet rearing, but u can see the pet in colour (if u wish) and set one of 2 game speeds (Regular, ages once every 24hrs, or fast, ages once every hour.)
