GThing 1.7.4 and junction 1,0,0,15

Greetings all,

GThing 1.7.4 has been released!

Changes in this version include

• Initial support for the LG KU800
• Bug fixes for the LG CU500 and LG TU500 to fix situations where some users had trouble connecting.
• Support for new LG U8120's that use a unicode protocol
• Sysfile support included for the LG U8210, LG CU500, LG TU500, LG KU800
• Tools fixed so that invalid code does not disable subsequent tools
• Many minor improvements as requested by users

NOTE: Transferring games from your phone to your PC is not yet supported on the LG KU800. Check the next version for this support.

New features have been held back from this version until at least the next version when LG KU800 support matures. Look for automod, and being able to download webpages into your phones "Saved pages" list, ideal for reading while on the go without paying mobile data rates!

LG U8500, LG U890, and LG U900 support is still on going but the end is in sight! Games have been installed on these phones so all that needs to be done is to get GThing working properly with the phones.

Also...

junction 1,0,0,15 has been released!

junction now supports the LG KU800. The KU800 support has not been largely tested so if you notice that it isn't working just post here and it will be fixed pronto.

I would like to give a big thank you to kramerkra who was responsible for most of the final testing and some of the initial work in supporting the KU800. An Italian guide for GThing and junction is in the works by kramerkra so keep an eye out for that one.

As always, if you notice anything out of place, just post up here and it will be fixed without drama.
