jWEB

jWEB is a web application to allow the simple one-click game installs of directWebInstall/junction to be placed on to any website without installing any software or imposing any software requirements. jWEB is as easy to implement on your website as directWebInstall is easy to use.

This game is FurnitureFrenzy. It is a game-thing.com game that has been put here to demonstrate jWEB. To use jWEB simply click on the red j below.

To use jWEB on your own website is very easy. Firstly, you will need a game-thing.com user account. Once you have your account and it is activated you will need to enter in the base URL for your website at the bottom of this page. Note that this will only be possible if you have logged in. Once jWEB is aware of your website all you need to do is simply insert the javascript code below where you want the jWEB link to be and change the JAR, JAD, and UID to match your game and userID. If you are logged in then your userID will appear on the code fragment below.

Inserting this javascript code will put a red j and a question mark (?) where the code is placed.

You are allowed one website on a single jWEB account. These should be entered as a full URL e.g. http://game-thing.com/. If you require more simply contact us.

Conditions

1. game-thing.com may terminate this service at any time without notice
2. game-thing.com may refuse you this service if they deem that your use of the service constitues abuse or is reducing game-thing.com's capacity to deliver this or any of its other services
3. You must only give website URLs to jWEB if you are the provider of the service at that given address or you have written permission from the provider of that address
4. Game files (JAD, JAR) should be accessible without a password or login
5. Game files should be accessible with cookies turned off
6. Game files should be accessible with the "Referer:" field set to http://game-thing.com/jweb_up.php
7. Game file URLs should remain the same for each game and not change hourly, daily, etc
8. Each game must have unique URLs. If you use a download script that does not have a unique URL including anything after the ? then jWEB will get confused due to its internal caching mechanism
9. jWEB is not to be used for the sale of mobile game and applications. Every game and application must not require a charge, ad click, etc to install
10. Information about JAD and JAR files may be collected for statistical purposes.
11. JAD and JAR files may be cached for a period to improve jWEB performance.
